Prelude to The Top 500 Songs of the Rock Era: Michael Sembello's "Maniac"

This artist from Philadelphia made quite an impression on Stevie Wonder.  By age 17, he played guitar for Stevie on the acclaimed album Fulfillingness' First Finale.  He then played on Wonder's 1976 album Songs in the Key of Life, one of The Top 5 Albums of the Rock Era*.

Besides playing for Wonder, he has worked with artists such as Michael Jackson, Barbra Streisand, the Temptations, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Chaka Khan, Stanley Clarke, and many others.

We turn to the "Flashdance" Soundtrack for this great dance song from Michael Sembello--"Maniac"!
