Arthur Wright Has Died





Arthur Wright, prolific session guitarist, has died, according to several sources.  It is estimated that Wright played on over 5,000 recordings, including "Let's Get It On" for Marvin Gaye, "Love Hangover" by Diana Ross, and "Don't Leave Me This Way" by Thelma Houston.  Wright played on songs by Stevie Wonder, Donna Summer, the Temptations, the 5th Dimension, the Jackson 5, Ray Charles, the Righteous Brothers, Little Richard,  and the Friends of Distinction, just to name a few.

Wright died at the age of 78.
